John W. Atwood |

John Atwood is a lifelong resident of Lumberton. He is a graduate of Lumberton High School and Pearl River Jr. College. He received a BS Degree from USM in chemistry and mathematics. He continued his education at Northeast LA University receiving a BS degree in pharmacy. Mr. Atwood is the former owner of John's Discount Drugs, Inc. Presently he is a relief pharmacist at South MS State Hospital in Purvis. |

John and his wife, Ann, reside at their residence of 32 years on Old Highway 11, and are the parents of three children, all graduates of Lumberton High School. They are also the proud parents of three grandchildren and one on the way!! Mr. Atwood attends Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. |
